Review of The Night Before (2015) by Jennifer M — 28 Nov 2015
I laughed loud and hard throughout the entire film! Many comedies tend to peter out in the last half hour so they can tie up all the various plot points, but whenever Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are involved, the comedy is nonstop, relentless, and spot on funny.
They confidentiality take the story and humor in any direction it needs to go to mine the big laughs. I would love to see the Oscars take notice of films like this. Comedy is so hard to pull off successfully.
Movies like The Night Before should be recognized when the award season rolls around. Maybe not for all tastes, but it should really hits the bull's eye with it's target audience.
