This movie is fantastic for its time (CHEESEY)! It was hilarious (in a lame 80's kind of way). A young Keanu gave his typical emotionally not quite there, breathy low voice, squinty eyes and seemingly stoned perforamance.
But it was perfect for the charcter. Music was fun too!
