I realize the plot is completely implausible, and filled with gaping holes, and I do mean gaping, but it has a breathtaking pace and it is undeniably exciting. Johnny Depp adds a lot to the movie with his very convincing portrayal.
Marsha Mason is well cast and surprisingly good and Roma Maffia scores in a supporting role. Well edited, good score and the use "real time" adds to the tension.
