Review of The Nick of Time (1939) by Cameron J — 07 Nov 2011
[D+/45] A contrived and monotonous thriller that will keep you looking at your watch. Its Hitchcockian premise flounders in a dead-end of preposterous plot and illogicalness, while several fine actors go nowhere quickly trying to find characters in the script.
Walken, in particular, has some moments, but overall it's a pretty bad and forgettable project.
