Review of The Nice Guys (2016) by Midairman — 29 Dec 2016
I absolutely loved this movie. The movie has many call backs in the movie to earlier scenes and maintains its tone throughout. Gosling and Crowe are an odd couple that works and well at that. They both have their moments to shine and do a great job.
The comedy is on point and the movie feels like its in the 70s. Its one thing to choose a time frame, but its another to nail it and they did. Personally I hope they make a second one and these two get to find more trouble.
Also Goslings daughter in the film did a fantastic job. She had strong presence in her scenes and really conveyed the witty wise cracking daughter of the sleazy detective.
