Review of The Nice Guys (2016) by Yonkiman — 22 May 2016
It had its moments, but this attempt to combine Big Lebowski and Inherent Vice and Pulp Fiction and Home Alone and every odd-couple buddy movie ever made really does not work. Very surprised it got all the positive reviews it did.
I'm tempted to give it a 0 to try to pull the average closer to what it deserves, but I'll play it straight and give it an honest 4. However Rex Reed in the Critic Reviews section DID give it a 0, and I agree with just about everything he says.
