Review of The Next Three Days (2010) by Dana A — 03 Jul 2011
This is the movie that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friends. This seriously was one of the most unbalanced movie I have ever watched. This is a shame coming from Paul Haggis who knows how to direct some fine thrillers.
This was the longest dragged out, yet excitingly unbelievable film. The first 10 minutes and the last twenty are absolutely heart-pounding. You're quickly thrusted in this story without explanation or reason, it grips you and then like an animal playing wit its prey, it drags you along until you're practically begging for this film to end and when it does its not rational but it is a nonstop ride.
This film lacks, wit, playfulness, or anything that would breakup the boringness you have to get through until you reach the end. I would only recommend people seeing the very beginning and the very end.
Also this film needed more Liam Neeson.
