This movie is a well-oiled machine, designed efficiently to crank out the audience's engagement, tension and release. The actors are all good with Russell Crowe especially so, and the gritty sets perfectly match the film's desperate tone.
For what it sets out to be, it is very good, however, it is also far from groundbreaking.
