Review of The Next Three Days (2010) by Francisco L — 31 Dec 2011
"The Next Three Days" is a fast paced, tense thriller that will keeping your eyes glued to the screen the entire time. I thought Russell Crowe did a great job in this movie as did Elizabeth Banks.
Like I said, the action is pretty fast paced, and there are several tense moments throughout. The ending sequence will keep you on the edge of your seat as you watch the whole plan play out. Overall it was a good movie, with a solid plot that keeps you guessing.
The only "knocks" against it would be that some of the events are a little too "convenient" for John Brennan (Crowe) and the story is pretty hard to believe when you take into consideration the risk versus the reward for John.
But if you can sit back, ignore some plot holes, and convient circumstances then you should be able to enjoy this movie for what it is...a movie!
