Review of The Next Three Days (2010) by Arun C — 06 Oct 2012
Overall an average or below film. About 2 hrs 15 minutes long and from the first scene you dislike the wife and the resentment only grows throughout the film and you really have no clue why anyone would marry this woman let alone risk their life to rescue her from jail.
Crowes character isnt much better, he comes off as a complete bore as he shuffles from scene to scene like droopy. The escape lasts an hour and keeps you in suspense but the constant mishaps with police right around the corner wears thin and leaves you just wishing it would end.
The escape plan isnt all that clever either. At the end they let you know if the wife commited the crime and honestly I didnt care.
