Review of The Next Three Days (2010) by Angelina C — 10 Oct 2012
I definitely had mixed emotions about this one.
The first part of the movie is a bit slow and the plot veers on being a tad atrocious. Clocking in at over 2 hours, it is at least a half-hour too long.
However, Crowe did an amazing portrayal of a civilian driven to extraordinary lengths out of devotion to his wife. Devoid of special effects, yet it is gripping, certain scenes are suitably tense and it did keep me at the edge of my seat. Fans of Russell Crowe or not, this crime feature could be worth a watch.
