Review of The Next Three Days (2010) by Lucian M — 30 Dec 2012
By Zanele Jiane.
"Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." Ephesians 6:25.
This is a romantic thriller.
A captivating story that has to be told, a man ready to lay down his life for his wife. Marital basics taken to the uttermost extreme, Russell Crowe is the man, his character is that of a mere community college teacher, it is so inspiring to see him turning the world upside down in order to be with the love of his life. Love truly is a verb.
This should be an everyday occurrence, but we (husbands) are too busy surfing the infinite web, reading the biased newspapers, chatting away our lives instead of displaying our love to our spouses. shame on us. the rest of us a mere wimps compared to John Brennan.
There is nothing mediocre with the movie.
Highly recommended.
