I'ts a shame no one appreciates this movie. I think it reflects Madonn's desire to be a mother and wife. It's also a subtle goodbye to her party years which she spent primarily being selfish.
She used to be surrounded by gay men and tacky cliches. It's one of her better acting jobs. Rupert was of course charming and gorgeous in it.
