Review of The New World (2005) by Taylor B — 11 Feb 2011
Terrence Malick applies his unique all encompassing style to this retelling of the Pocahontas story. Absolutely beautifully shot and scored, with solid performances. The plotting is likely to alienate some, but you can't fault Malick's command of film language.
