Review of The New World (2005) by Emily B — 13 Jun 2012
The movie is too long, slow, and drawn out. The dialogue through thoughts, the strange camera angles, and the movement of the story come across as trying to be too deep and artistic. I appreciate the attempt at a new perspective of this classic story, other than Disney and stuffy history books, but it lacks interest and activity.
I think more time should have been spent with detail in areas rather than "artistic" images.
