Review of The New Mutants (2020) by Rappm95 — 19 Sep 2020
A dud, and fitting ending to the Fox/X-Men saga. A lot of the films in the series were meandering in terms of theme and message, and this one follows suit. I'm not seeing why the director waited an additional two years to release the movie from when it was originally slated to come out.
The horror themes don't really show up, and the special effects are poor. No need for a sequel, maybe a reboot down the road.
