The New Kids is another in Spader's string of entertaining shit that he made before coming close to respectability with Sex, Lies, and Videotape. After that, he went down the tubes again but was never as inspired as he was in his younger days.
Here, he is a blonde, coke-snorting redneck who speaks in an effeminate Tennessee Williams drawl.
