Silly, predictable, slow and.. ya predictable( I wrote predictable two times to emphasize on that point). The New Daughter is a movie that you can predict from its title; really it`s ridiclous if you are not that smart or a real movie geek you will figure the whole movie out after 10 minutes.

You may not figure out the very much ending and thats because it is way much stupid. You ask why Kevin Costner`s career is in dumps this movie tells why; he lost his ability to chose even medicore movies, like "Revenge" for instance, he always goes for the shitty one but frankly this movie is better than the disaster titled "Postman".
