Review of The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking (1988) by Sherry L — 21 Jan 2009
Remember seeing it when I was around 5 years old. And you know how kids are! They immediately feel when something isn't all right. Even though I was only five years old, I understood that this wasn't the real Pippi Longstocking, this was a phoney!
Not only a phoney; but a deranged Pippi Lockstocking-wanna-be!
Not the happy, crazy Pippi, who was every kid's friend and always bothered the police, and Pruskiluskan (don't even remember they had the character Pruskiluskan in this crappy remake).
Inger Nilsson who starred in the 1960s tv-series, is the one and only Pippi Lockstocking, period!
