Review of The NeverEnding Story (1984) by Geoff R — 24 Jun 2011
This is one of those films that has heart and although it may not hold up well in more recent times, the story and heart behind it do. I remember being scared to death as a child and for good reason, the film is still pretty dark even fifteen years later.
The movie portrays what a lot of us want to do, escape from the every day mundane life we lead and go to a fantasy world of adventure. The film does that for the viewer as well, takes them away and puts them in Fantasia.
Recommended, especially if you saw this as a child!
