This movie is so wrongfully considered another cheesy 80's kid's flick. What is destroying this fantasy land? NOTHING? It's a take on the hero's journey much like star wars with several mythic elements combined only this movie's villain is the true enemy of all adventure, not a powerful overlord, a great nothing left behind when great stories are forgotten.
Creative, heartfelt and sometimes very dramatic, The Neverending Story is not only a memorable family adventure, but a great one!
