The world of Fantasia is beautifully realized with incredible puppetry and art design, although the script fumbles on a thematic level (particularly Atreyu facing the trials and the silly revenge fantasy with the bullies at the end).
Atreyu is a great, charming heroic lead and Gmork is one of the scariest characters ever. A classic fantasy adventure and a wondrous celebration of imagination.
