Review of The NeverEnding Story (1984) by Chris S — 21 Jan 2015

I love seeing new movies, but it does seem like good original movies can be hard to find. After finally seeing (after somehow missing it my childhood) The Neverending Story I can definitely say if felt like something new. Which is odd considering it came out in the early 80s. It has it's flaws: under budgeted puppeteering, a hackneyed setup, and a hero whose main method of problem solving is shouting at stuff (seriously, how do you hunt purple buffalo like that?), it was still highly enjoyable.

These look like big, strong hands... don't they?
