I was unfortunatly kind of dissapointed with the movie, I heard good things about it and I've also heard some lies about it, but what it really dissapointed me was the fact that the didn't followed the nice development of the first half hour, the movie itself is interesting and entertaining, there were just somethings missing, some good things missing and the movie had much space to have them, the movie has kind of two hours durity.

Irwin Winkler, the guy who won an Oscar directed this movie, he directed it okay but not amazingly. Sandra Bullock takes the lead role okay, she didn't had a memorable perfomance or character, but her acting was still acceptable, Sandra is known from The Proposal, Crash, The Blind Side, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and some other movies. Jeremy Northam has an okay role, I don't even know him, but I can only say that he's a decent actor, Jeremy is known from Gosford Park and some other titles. Dennis Miler was having one of the best perfomances in the movie, but he had a not long screen time, Dennis is known from What Happens in Vegas, Joe Dirt and some other titles. Sow, as you can see, the cast was mediocre, I mean, the only actually known and usually good actress in the movie is Sandra, she had a mediocre character and perfomance, the rest of the cast is just okay, nothing to be happy about, that was probably one of the things that didn't make this movie work like it shood.

Angela Bennett (Sandra Bullock) is a softwaree engeneer type who is always working at home, delivers her food at home, she doesn't have any friends exept her online friends who she doesn't even know their true name and she basicly just spends her life on the computer. Angela takes her first vacation in six years and then she gets involved in a matter of life and death with an identity crisis. Sow, it's a bit hard to tell the plot in this conditions, but you will understand it better if you do watch the movie, there's some ups and downs in the plot, and I guess there's more downs if you know what I'm saying, the plot was on the edge of not working like it cood work, with some new changes in the plot, The Net cood actually a good movie and have a higher rating than 5.7 on IMDb. Surprisnly good plot, but still... the plot was on the edge from falling in the ground called "really bad".

Soundtrack, well the soundtrack was just okay, no big deal. You watch a thriller movie and you basicly think that there's action in it, but I can unfortunatly tell you that there's no really awesome action scenes in the movie, Sandra was not trained by a guy who knew Bruce Lee or something like that, there's really not to much action scenes in this movie like it cood have, sow, you can be prepared to watch a good thriller when you watch The Net, but you can't be sitting in the coutch thinking that you will watch an action movie, because that way, you will be kind of dissapointed. Two or three good action scenes, that's all (Unfortunatly).

Besides all that, I am now going to tell you what I really thought about this movie. First of all, I don't quite give it a three, I wodo rather rate it as a 3 and a half half star, wich wood be a 6.5/10, but that matters, that's not just a whathever, I wood rate this movie like that if it was possible, I cood see several good things about it. I'm sad I didn't like it so much as I thought I was going to, but I have no regrets of watching it, I had a good time, it didn't followed the great beginning, wich in my opinion, deserved an 8/10, but then it went downhill, I was trying to make myself think "I am liking it... right?", because sometimes it was just hard to like it, sure it was more enjoyable for some people, I just think it's okay, this movie has a big good thing in it, wich is the mistery, the plot, has very things who lead you into a kind of path that will let you entertained trying to figure out what it's going to happen in the movie, so that was good and it was a good way to make sure that no one was going to stop watching the movie in the middle of it. This movie had a really bad thing in it, I saw myself being confused several times because of the technology and the computer stuff, that was really confusing, and I think that they cood explain that a little better in the movie. This movie had the same number of flaws and good things about it, and I'm happy I watched it, I say it again, this is a 6.5/10 and it's right on the edge of skiping that and become a 7/10 (3 and a 1/2 stars). Overall, this movie deserves to be seen by everybody, I appreciated it most of the times and it's basicly an intresting thriller, with a very good plot, an okay cast and everything together cood create a (memorable) thriller movie with a good perfomance by Bullock. I will not mind to watch some more scenes of this movie again, I liked it and I think it worked really well. Good thriller.

Good thriller movie. Recommended movie. Grade: C.
