I watched this because it was from the same director as Drive. Although you can notice some similarities regarding the aesthetics and a bit of an overall nihilistic feel to the whole thing, this movie is certainly not as accomplished as Drive.

I enjoyed the cinematography and the performances, but the finished product would have benefited from better writing and plot development.
