Review of The Negotiator (1998) by Joshua M — 21 Jun 2009
Like a tactical game of chess, The Negotiator knows how to position its pieces to win. Kevin Spacey and Samuel L. Jackson work well together in this action-drama about a cop who doesn't know who he can trust.
In the end, this movie was about 10 minutes too long, although I'm glad I sat through the whole thing. Kudos to the writers for keeping the mystery a secret until the end without having to resort to an unbelievable or stupid twist.
