I'm not big on hostage movies. I just feel they are way too predictable, the plot generally gets either incredibly cliched or implausible or both. So I went into this one hesitantly. Unfortunately, it did not change my view on hostage movies for the above reasons and more.
Samuel L Jackson is a former cop who gets framed for a murder he doesn't commit, so he takes the office hostage. It starts off dumb and doesn't get any better.
