Review of The Natural (1984) by Berigan T — 19 Apr 2009
Robert Redford never disappoints when he tries to help depict the emotions and the reality any character he plays in a film. Here in "The Natural," Redford brings the audience the experience of the many obstacles a baseball player had to endure during the 1930s.
The movie seemed timeless and interesting. Just watching how all the women in his life affected his baseball career was intriguing as well. I enjoyed the costumes in this film. I especially enjoyed Redford's collection of fedoras he wears throughout the film.
This film is a definite recommendation to watch!
