Review of The Natural (1984) by Scott E — 26 Dec 2007
It may be formulaic and even cheesy at times, but it's the best story about second-chances that I've seen. Based on the book by Pulitzer Prize winning author, Bernard Malamud, this movie is both great baseball story and American metaphor - with equal parts tragedy and triumph.
