Provides really nothing new at all to anybody who knows anything about this storyline. The angel visiting Mary and Joseph is absolutely pathetic and kind of creepy; the story drags and drags and drags; the wisemen feel like they belong in a sitcom; and the direction and production design is unimaginative and blah.

Not to mention the music, which feels like it was made by a Zelda synthesizer. The acting is okay, but the whole thing is a real bore. Edit - In terms of adding nothing new, I wasn't talking about adding fictitious or superfluous accounts to the story, but giving us some other reason to watch the movie.

I mean, why go see the movie if it gives us absolutely nothing creative about the story? Better to just stick to the original.
