This movie was surprisingly well made, featuring subtle writing, and solid acting and direction. Very astute in it's portrayal of the time period and the drama surrounding Christ's birth.
The real highlight of this movie is the breathtaking musical score combining traditional Christmas music and middle eastern instrumentation.
