It's a good retelling of the classic story and I'm a little surprised that it wasn't as well received as it should be. It's got that realistic quality to it that makes it seem like a prequel of sorts to The Passion of the Christ (except the characters in The Nativity Story speak English).
Definitely good viewing for Christmas.
