Review of The Nativity Story (2006) by Ben D — 21 Dec 2007
I don't quite come up with anything like how this could have been done better though I'm sure this could have been bt...anyways, this is a beautiful movie that even those who do not believe, should watch. (And yes, I'm hoping that after watching they would.).
I saw this first time last Christmas in theaters and I cried a river at His births scene - it was visually beautiful too, such an emotional moment though I do think most of the emotion sprung from the fact that I believe in that greatest gift of all and seeing Him fictionally born was just over-whelming feeling.
Only this second time I watched this I noticed they had pucked a happy baby to "play" Jesus - he barely really even cried ata ll, much - he almost laughed and smiled. That seemed SO...right. :D And he was beautiful too. ^^.
PS. See my Peter Pan music video made to the song "Mary Did You Know (Your Baby Boy)". Beautiful song to a beautiful movie.
