Review of The Namesake (2006) by Carl L — 13 Sep 2008
I came into this movie late, but I was enraptured from the minute I started watching. Beautiful colors, but most importantly, it struck a chord with me. I was shocked at how quickly I teared up, especially not having watched the movie from the beginning.
It's a movie first and foremost about family, and knowing and remembering where your roots are miles away, capturing all the little things you remember along the way. The parents are what make this film.
Recommended for those that like a good drama.
