Review of The Name of the Rose (1986) by Megan T — 03 Nov 2007
A very good and depressing movie about the christian church's hunger for power over public as an institution and the extent of violance and brutality it can impose to maintain that power, even when contrary to the teachings of christianity.
A very good criticism of church's insistence to remain as a religious institution and meddle with people's lives and pass GOD's judgment on them. Good setting, good story, good acting and directing.
A MUST SEE...
