Review of The Naked Spur (1953) by Matthew C — 11 Aug 2010
It's decent, hard to discount anything with Jimmy Stewart, but it could've been a real character study if a little more depth would've been put into Howard's character. It would've made his turn to bounty hunting that more meaningful.
If I have one complaint, it's that it drags a little, but that's largely due to it being a story of the human character than a stereotypical shoot-em-up western.
