Review of The Naked Spur (1953) by Patrick H — 25 Aug 2008
"Sometimes I like to sit outside, by a window, and listen to music... like now," says Jimmy Stewart, sitting outside no where near a window, with no music being played.
It's a very decent Western. Parts of it seem superfluous, and the second string acting is sub-par, but James Stewart is tip-of-the-hat good, as usual. For a better use of the Anthony Mann and J. Stewart one-two punch, watch Winchester '73.
