A brilliantly funny film. After Police Squad flopped as a TV show in the early 1980s, three movies were made in the late 80s and early 1990s. In a similar vain as Airplane!, it follows detective Frank Drebbin as he attempts to foil an attempt to assasinate the Queen of England.

Despite Leslie Nielsen being the only character retained from the series(although Nordberg was in the series, here he is played by O.J. Simpson), the cast is excellent, with Ricardo Montalban as the baddie, Priscilla Presley as the love interest and the ever reliable George Kennedy as Drebbin's boss and friend. One of the best comedies out there.
