Review of The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear (1991) by Tom G — 06 Apr 2008
In a rare move for a sequel this is as good if not better than the original.
The jokes seem slightly more original, as original as in any ZAZ film anyway and as ever the acting is awful but tremendous.
It gains something from some very un-subtle political satire which I missed when I first saw the film when I was younger but now adds a nice extra someting and as ever Leslie Nielsen is fantasticly deadpan as Frank Drebin.
