Review of The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear (1991) by Joyce J — 17 Apr 2012
What's great is that Leslie Nelson returns as the bumbling deadpan cop. The laughs and gags shoot out at every minute and most are hits than misses. The dialog is fantastic, with more than a few great one liners.
This is a laugh a minute and once again the jokes come thick and fast and sometimes unpredictable and dafty stupid in a great spoofy way. I felt this film was a little slow but the final 3rd of the film is a great highlight and should be up there as one of American's best comedy moments.
A great sequel which succeeds within it's self as it's normally hard to better the original. Great film.
