Review of The Music Man (1962) by Sky L — 11 Jun 2007
Shirley Jones is irresistable. She has a unique voice and smile that can melt anybody's heart. Other than that... it's not like musicals have great plots. Very good barber shop quartet numbers.
Perfect use of stage effects to make you believe it's reality than switch back to stage. Nobody I know has since done the same thing... say "Producer" the movie... horrible transition from stage to big screen.
