Review of The Muppets (2011) by Marcdoyle — 25 Nov 2011
As a kid in the 70's, I obviously loved the Muppets in their prime. This film is cute, and it's fun to be reintroduced to the characters (esp. the always amazing Miss Piggy), but the movie as a vehicle fell flat for me.
There were 3 or 4 deathly slow moments that almost lost me. For those on the fence, I'd suggest renting the original.
