Maybe Iâ(TM)m a little biased (I watched the original version when I was a kid) but this remake isnâ(TM)t at all what I would call a classic. The history is flat and the songs really arenâ(TM)t that good.
Since I love Jason Segel, I really wanted to love this movie. Well, maybe the young kids will like it, but I would suggest seeing the 1979 version, instead!
