Review of The Muppets (2011) by Dominic C — 21 Feb 2014
The Muppets is easily the best Muppet Movie since the original. It's that good. The characters are goofy lovable, and entertaing as ever. The songs are cute. The storyline has been repeated a few times for the Muppets, but it's done much better here so I won't deduct any points for that at all.
Walter is a very good new Muppet, and I like forward to seeing him in Muppets Most Wanted. The only things that could annoy classic fans are fart shoes, out of place sing-a-long numbers and a bit of gangster humor.
However these things are intentionally goofy, and will not have any points deducted. All in all a near perfect film that every child or child at heart will love.
