The movie that made the Muppets and showed the world they were more then just TV puppets.. From the opening shot of Kermit in the swamp playing Rainbow Connection, you know your in for something special, and Henson doesn't disappoint.
For the casual Muppet fan or as an introduction to them, this movie is perfect, for as Kermit tells Robin, this is approximately how the Muppets came together. Great songs too, especially the ballad I'm Going to Go Back There Someday, a true heart-wrencher.
. The first, and the best, and the reason the Muppets are more then just puppets- they are legends.
