Review of The Muppet Movie (1979) by Rikki C — 13 Feb 2009
The first (and yes, the best) Muppet movie. The story is episodic, to be sure, but a lot of the fun of the movie comes out of the unusual characters that Kermit and Co. encounter along their way to Hollywood.
The movie also has a terrific ensemble of cameo appearances, and Mel Brooks walks away with the film in only about three minutes of screentime.
