Jim Henson and his Muppets were introduced to the big screen in 1979 in "The Muppet Movie." The film balances the irreverent comedy of "The Muppet Show" with a road trippin' story line that just seems right for the Muppets.
Excellent puppetry, hilarious dialogue, running gags, and quick jokes abound and they all work brilliantly. Also there is some great music in the film, and that really makes it memorable. I loved "The Muppet Movie" when I was a kid and I always will.
