Review of The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) by Joshua B — 29 Apr 2011
The Muppet Christmas Carol puts a charming spin on Dickens' Christmas classic while remaining impressively faithful to it. Narrated by Gonzo (as Charles Dickens), and featuring Michael Caine's great take on Ebeneezer Scrooge, the film gives a nice interpretation of the story, especially as an introduction for younger viewers who may not be ready for the novel's gothic elements.
Add in all the classic Muppet characters and fantastic songs, and you get a memorable Christmas classic for the whole family.
