Review of The Mummy's Shroud (1967) by Michael G — 15 Oct 2010
This was Hammer films third entry in its mummy series. As with the previous entries, the storyline is rather slow- but interesting enough to keep me watching. The production values in general may not have been up to the same standard as the previous mummy films, but the acting of the British businessman leading the expedition, his assistant, and the mad tomb keeper were entertaining enough to ignore them.
I felt the music was quite good, and destruction of the mummy at the end was well done.
Definately worth a Hammer fan's viewing, but not one mainstream fans will likely enjoy.
