Review of The Mummy's Hand (1940) by Mark B — 23 Aug 2009
Not really a sequel to The Mummy and not really a remake, The Mummy's Hand uses a lot of ideas of the original Mummy and even some clips. The people at Universal must have realized that people want a mummy (not a mummy that is human once unwrapped) so they kept the Mummy a mummy for the film.
It has a lot of vaudvillian type comedy near the beginning and is slow going until the actual expedition begins.
